Nestled on the serene banks of the sacred River Godavari in Venkatareddy Peta Village, Yetapaka Mandal, Polavaram District, the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Devasthanam stands as a beacon of faith, devotion, and tradition for devotees across generations.
This divine temple was founded in 1930 by Shri. Late Madireddy Ganapathi Rao Naidu garu, a revered and respected Retired Tahasildar. With his vision and devotion, he established a place that continues to inspire countless devotees to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.

Over the decades, the temple has grown to include several sacred shrines and facilities within its tranquil premises:
- Sri Annapurna Sametha Vishweshwara Swamy Temple (1930) - Established in 1930, this sacred shrine symbolizes nourishment, prosperity, and divine abundance, with Goddess Annapurna and Lord Vishweshwara blessing devotees with spiritual fulfillment and well-being
- Hanuman Mandir — Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, this sacred shrine represents unwavering devotion, immense strength, and fearless courage, inspiring devotees to walk the path of faith, service, and righteousness.
- Kalyana Mandapam — Established in 2008 by Sri Madireddy Venkateswara Rao, the grandson of Shri Ganapathi Rao Naidu, the Kalyana Mandapam was constructed by Smt. Sailaja Venkateswara Rao along with the Madireddy family heirs. This sacred hall is dedicated to conducting divine ceremonies, including Kalyanothsavams, and serves as an important venue for temple rituals and auspicious events.
- Annadhana Mandapam -Constructed through the generous donations of devotees, the Annadhana Mandapam is a sacred space where Annadanam (free food service) is offered to devotees every Saturday, reflecting the temple’s commitment to service, compassion, and community welfare
Temple Legacy & Management
Founded by Shr. Late Madireddy Ganapathi Rao Naidu garu (Retd. Tahasildar), and lovingly expanded and maintained by his Family , the temple continues to stand as a monument of faith, charity, and heritage on the banks of the holy Godavari.
Sri Ganapati Rao Naidu garu attained heavenly abode in 1964. Since then, the temple has been lovingly maintained by his descendants.
The temple has been handed over to the Endowments Department. In continuation of the legacy, the position of Chairman has historically been associated with the Madireddy family.
At present, the temple administration is carried out as per Endowments Department oversight, pending formal constitution of a managing committee,—the temple’s upkeep, rituals, and services are collectively managed by the founders and donors of the Madireddy family, preserving the founder’s vision of service and simplicity.
Their vision and service ensure that Sri Venkateswara Swamy Devasthanam remains not just a place of worship, but a home of cultural harmony and divine grace for generations to come..
Daily worship, special festivals, and community annadanam are organised throughout the year.

Temple Activities & Sevas
The temple organizes daily Pujas, Archana, and Special Sevas for devotees. Major festivals like Brahmotsavam, Hanuman Jayanthi,Dasara,Sri Krishna janmastami Vaikunta Ekadashi, and Deepavali , Shivaratri, ugadi are celebrated with grandeur and devotion.
